Red Meat Good – Processed Meat Bad
I found an interesting article in “Circulation – A Journal of the American Heart Association.”
It’s a 25 page summary of a review and analysis of previous research.
Here’s the summary – “Consumption of processed meats, but not red meats, is associated with higher incidence of coronary heart disease -CHD and diabetes mellitus.”
To put it in layman’s terms – a steak is ok, but hot dogs would be bad for you.
